A word or two about the Drug Policies of the United States.
Legalizing drugs doesn't mean they are safe or that we tolerate abuse. In fact, sticking with the same failed policies is what ensures that the same societal ills will continue.
Please share your medical marijuana experiences with us.
I have personally witnessed people quit smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, abusing pain medication, beat cocaine addiction, and even cure their own bulimia.
But my most significant experience was when my best friend, who was going through a tough divorce, said he was going to kill himself (loaded pistol in hand). I talked him into smoking a joint for the first time. "Hey, what's it going to hurt if your going to be dead in a few minutes anyway," I told him. He was laughing and unloading within half an hour. Never worried about things he has no control over ever again. He is now remarried and has never been happier.
